Mariette West - Sensitive

I often find myself feeling lonely
In the process of healing I hate the internet
Sometimes I just can't wait to be thirty
I'll hopefully be grounded, way more confident
Nothing to prove to anyone
Finding something soothing about spending some time alone
Sometimes I just can't stand remembering
The memories of being loved, it hits me way too hard
I never get it when they leave me
I feel too much, I fall too fast and then I get too sad
But I don't know how not to give 'em my whole heart
I'll spend a lifetime wondering why
But in a mysterious way the answers will come when it's right
And when I'm losing myself
It hurts a little more every time
But if I get lost on the way
I can always find my way back home
I'm way too sensitive they say
And I'll admit it's my weakness
But it also makes me so damn strong
I've learned some lessons the hard way
But I found something healing about writing my own song
