Orange Peelers - dogs at the bridge

November 19 i saw two dogs
I call them Ruby and James

Ruby is warm like the sun
But James is cold like the moon

I never saw them together
But I started seeing them more often

Though i thought that they were complete opposites, i think they look nice together
It looked like the scars from their owners were disappearing

Months passed and they changed a lot
James acted freely as if his old owner never got angry at him for doing those things
And Ruby started taking James in as she knew him better

They weren't as different as i thought
They were just closed off, scarred by their old owners
Their lives compliment each other very well
I hope they know each other for a long time
