Erik Hårdstedt - When you die

When you die you might be setting sail for a journey down the milky way
When you die your curiosity will die along with you and set you free
When you die a blinding light may appear a light that may absorb hopes and fears
Will your flame dissolve into the light will you let it or will you fight
When you die you might be tripping balls, with holy fathers and mothers in law
You may be seeing things you've never seen before, things you never knew were in store
Your dyin brain might shoot you to the stars, where you'll be led into your favorite bar
You´ll be dancing in a timeless state, untill your brain runs dry and it's too late
When you die your genes might live on, in a bank or through your daughters and sons
When you die you will be remembered by some, but eventually you'll be gone
When you die it may not be of age you may be governing your own fate
If and when you die depends on when you're born, if science found the key to heaven's door
When you die you might preserve your brain, for your mind to be brought back again
When you die you may be anesthetized. too gone to even use your inner eyes
When you die you may be filled with hate, not quite at terms with your personal fate
You may be thrown into another world ,without the clarity you wished that death would bring
On the threshold to the big unknown, you might be guided by seeds you've sown
All you need to do, is letting go of that inherent wish to live on
When you die your daily duties are fulfilled. Somebody else will have to pay your bills
While you board the ship with tattooed sails for your journey down the Milky Way
