Sitting in my bedroom and I don't know what to do
The doodles in the corner of the blank page that I drew
It's been such a long time since I've wrote a song
I tried and I tried but the words that just won't come
I got thoughts in my head that are dying to break free
The feelings that I feel when I feel won't let me be
I'll pick up my guitar and I strum to make a sound
But the passion and the feeling are nowhere to be found
But I push on until the line is drawn
And I hold on until the song is done

Now I've got the first verse and I'm feeling good about it
I've started on the second and I'm really starting to doubt it
But I don't really care, cause that's the way I'm feeling now
That's the way it goes when you start to write the music
You've got so many words but you're not sure how to use them
But you put them all together just to have something to sing
I've counted up the lines, just got two more to go
It started kinda rough, now it's really starting to flow
And I'm thinking to myself, where the hell was all of this before
