IF9 - Story Time

Story Story,
Once upon a time
IF9
Let me say a little story about a kid whose name was George
Grew up in the neighborhood and was taught the ways of God

Don't lie, don't steal, stay focused in school
Responding like a robot, had to follow all the rules
His first day in school, a banker he would be
With no questions asked, no chance for him to choose

George did well in school, a flying A student
So many scholarships came with a first class ticket
Graduated as the best, he had no competition
But all pictures he took, no sign of joy at all

You see, George had a gifted dance, and people would watch
Once he starts dancing, so many attractions that he caught
Anytime his father knew, he would get serious beating
His mama didn't bend, even with so much tearful pleadings

George worked for some years, in sorrow and in hate
No happiness around him, even with food on his plate
But he's parents were happy, not minding his feelings
This is not the man I wanted to be, I should have a say

As he bowed his head to pray, Lord forgive me for my sins
After heavy depression, hung himself under a tree
