When I first started I hate how I sounded

Four albums in and I'm gaining a following
Building my empire built to be ongoing
Life is a journey this time that we're borrowing

Felt like my feelings and pain didn't matter
Stuck at the bottom repeating my patterns

Made myself get up avoided disaster
Grind every day and start climbing the ladder

Everyone screaming the songs I created
Suffered for years now I'm famous
Laugh at the people who doubted and hated

Feels good for a moment but the pressure is rising
I'm crumbling gotta stay relevant it's kinda surprising

Standards and promises stress is so dominant
Just wasn't obvious when I first started as an artist
Wish I could go back and enjoy it like I should've been
