Web. - "Z" is for Zeal

So raise your hand if you're ages 10 to 25 in this room
10 to 25, raise your hand
That's literally the majority of you in this room
There's this thing called Gen Z that everybody likes to talk crap about

How we don't love Jesus or we're like, we're all over the place
But I believe that the Lord, Gen Z, "Z" I think it's for Zeal, for his house
We're going to be a generation zealous for the things of God
We're zealous for the things of God

We're zealous for the King
That his house would be pure, that we would be pure
I know we're singing something crazy, but Jesus walked into the
What's that called again, a synagogue, like this

"And he was like, what's going on
You're just selling a bunch of stuff"
And he starts flipping the tables, but right before that he says
"Zeal for my house has consumed me"

And he wanted what the Father wanted
He wanted purity
He wanted holiness
He wanted that to be a place where everybody came together

But I'm prophesying, declaring
If we could put our hands up and let me just release this over you

Lord, I thank you right now that Gen Z will be zealous for the things of God
That they will not be overcome by passions

but they will be overcome by the fire of God
This all-consuming fire, Lord
That you will purify their hearts and their minds and their actions
That God is fun and he's serious

He so silly, but he's very serious about his house
So Lord, I thank you that they will be marked with joy
That they will be marked with love
That they will be marked with peace and all the fruits of the Spirit of Jesus

So we're going to go back into this chorus
Knowing that zeal just means a burning passion to see something succeed
And we want to see God's house built on earth through his people
So as you worship in spirit and in truth

Know that you're agreeing, saying, I'm only going to burn for you
Not for my passions, only for you
