The Metal Alliance - The Flying Dutchman

A mammoth of a storm appeared
The sailors saw what they feared
The pale faced mustached first mate
Warned the captain it would seal their fate
Arguing back and forth the captain had to pull rank
Any of the crew who disagreed would walk the plank
No storm could hold him in 1678
The captain didn't care he would sail through hell's gate
Now together they haunt the seven seas
Condemned for eternity to appease
A vow taken against the wishes of his crew
The bane of their consequences no soul can undo
The captain snarled to his crew to raise the sails:
De kaap vaar ik om, al moet ik varen tot de dag des oordeels
The crew's pleas he so ignored
The storm got hold, all thrown overboard
Davy Jones' Locker they fell toward
Resulted in a curse, as their reward
Until judgement day their ghostly shells will remain
For centuries caught in between two domains
The Flying Dutchman haunts the seven seas
Condemned for eternity to appease
A vow taken against the wishes of his crew
The bane of their consequences no soul can undo
Through the mist looking on from the deck
The first mate cried out for the captain to double check
Empty cities, no ships were to be seen
Slowly realising, judgement day has been
All alone after thousands of years
They missed the rapture confirming their fears
The Flying Dutchman now alone on the Earth
The curse wasn't lifted, they got no rebirth
How could they have missed, the last day, it's unclear
Judgement day has passed but, they are still here
They are still here
They're still here
They're still here
They're still here
