Fiddlesticks and Fairytales - Ulysses the Umbrellabird

Ulysses the Umbrellabird, the strangest bird you've seen
With a beak that's oh so long and feathers oh so green
But there's something about Ulysses that sets him apart
He can't stand a single drop, he despises rain so hard
Oh Ulysses, dear Ulysses, won't you give the rain a chance?
With your fancy feathers and your merry little dance
Ulysses, dear Ulysses, let the raindrops touch your wings
For in the rain, you'll find a joy that only nature brings
But no matter how we try, Ulysses won't be swayed
He shakes his head and flaps his wings, refusing to get sprayed
He hides away in tree trunks, underneath the leaves
But we'll keep on singing, hoping he'll change his beliefs
