As I hide in my shelter
The guardian that failed
A stranger emerges looking pale
From out of nowhere he came

For even though I was the guardian once
The world had worse things come
For some reason I was Chosen
To hear about a world frozen
The zombies have come
To take our minds

The end was just the beginning
And the traveler strange is it may be was right
As the terror left my face as he told me
Of beings that would end the human race

I wondered what he meant
The talk of time and the warning was spent
The swamp was a warning from someone above
For the human race was about to meet its extinction
For the sins that it caused
