Red Output - Varnish

The rain came down the spine
Clad in garter belts
It beaded up
Wore my varnish down
And showed me frugal Love
This house - a ribcage
Sealed by polyurethane
Rain's beating on my chimney
My Love trickled down the drain
And every drop I'd feel
Warmth crept across the couch
The fireplace spat up its guts
So I ran out the house
I suppose I got used to hollow bones
Sometimes I miss those marrow tones
Them rafter beams been rotting away
Dear My Love
Semicolon
That which I cannot retrace
I'm so sorry for cheapening you
Just contacting to see where you are and how you've been doin' I know it's been a while
I'm takin' a break from the ol' nommins on my non-monogy and thought you might be interested in grabbing some liquorice root tea and soy bevy with me some time
Something bad happened to the place I've been stayin' at she all burnt down to the ground
How's that for luck?! Anyway I'm mindin' my own business and rut-dut-dut-do-do
My ribcage house of loveless vapid affection
All falls down
Sincerely

For merely just a season
Poplar bends against the winds
When they try to burn me it only works
When the sun's done dried me in
But that ain't gonna happen
For when it rains it pours
I'm bringing My Love right back in
To dry out on the porch
