It's by his grace I can wake up and I keep growin

Started writin back in highschool in the notepad
Had to let my thoughts out I was so sad
Depression hit got me lookin like a nomad
Music truly saved my life man I'm so glad
Rezerekt sparked a flame in my whole mind
I was assigned to spread the word in my own rhymes
God has a plan for you in your own time

I never realized how important prayer and reading the word was until I truly followed god so I honestly wanna encourage anyone who doesn't know Jesus to go find out what he about

I'm more concerned wit how I get it in
More concerned wit negatives but still I wanna win
Different time different mind lots of different sins
It doesn't matter how you spin it sin is still sin
Had to take this praise break so I could thank God
But am I really tryna change or is it a facade
Strugglin wit temptations feelin kinda odd
All alone for right now i gotta change the squad
