Greebly Mork - Your Mediocrity is Superlative

Well you're average, and you're the same
You're no different from anybody else cuz you're a plain Jane
Average weight, average height
you're a 40 watt bulb on a fifty eight degree night
You run a 12 minute mile
You've got a Colgate smile
You got a one page pile in your permanent school file
You're commonplace, ordinary, middle of the road
Normal, standard, median and mode
When you come in the room ain't nobody buzzin'
'Cuz people like you are a dime a dozen
Youre lackluster, adequate, fair and unexceptional
Pedestrian, prosaic, grade "c" acceptable
Bland, second rate, nothing to wrote home about
By and large on the whole plain vanilla in and out

Well you're top to bottom amateur every-day humdrum
Normal, ordinary every day medium
Plastic, customary, uninspired common place
Fair to middling, tolerable, bush league, no great shakes
You came to the party. You asked for Arty
You started telling jokes like you're Laurel and Hardy
"knock, knock?" "Who's there?" Oh my god, who cares?
You think you're hilarious, you more like nefarious
You started telling jokes and your status got precarious

At work closing bell, that's when you get the job done
You're mainstream, tolerable, common place, general one
2.1 kid, 1.5 cars and neighbors all around separated by fences
You think you're great, you think you're swell
But you only count as one on the US census
Fair for the most part, deeply ordinary
Run-of the mill, forgettable, tolerable, boilerplate
In the middle of your story I think I might have passed out
I've heard it all before and it's nothing to write home about

What's your name? I can't recall
Because you don't stand out at all
Was it Jill was in Jen
Or maybe you should say again?
Your face is like "meh", your eyes are like "meh"
Your hair is like "meh" but your skin feels like a basketball
You're ok, and so-so, by and large you don't suck
mid point the center cut the middle of the road
You're not much special, youre the norm, but not too much
Your mediocrity exceeds others mediocrity
And no one's more average than you
You're the pre-fab, rag tag, olive drab,
Off the map dirt road to nowhere remarkable
