Living in a movie, trying to find out what my genre is

Lights camera action gotta make it worth the while before my movie end
I got the starring roll, and I swear I'm executing it
The people ain't believing me, be the ones speaking on my name
Young black man so successful, I swear it's all getting to their brain
I'm elevating reaching higher levels and I swear that it will never change

It's cause they got something else going on in their life
Projecting their insecurities in their action cause they don't know how to make what you got go on work for themselves
But they fail to realize the work that you put in to make it there
So they come around and try to mess up what you got going
Sometimes you gotta stay to yourself

Got to the point I almost went to therapy the other day
Just trying to wrap my brain around all the hostility towards me
I'm almost at the point where my family are the only people who allow to call my phone
In fact, there's no reason to leave a message cause I not even gonna listen to what you got to say after the tone
