3rd Grade Perspective - Contemplation

Brain storming as I stroll through a rain shower
Steady pouring with ideas [on] how to gain power
[The] Literature flows just like a river stream
[I] Capture a marvelous line to help me build a scene
So photogenic
Words paint a portrait with substance embedded
Of course I take the credit
Crown fitted with signs of genius in my star alignment
Today my sun returns to [it's] initial assignment
That's how you make the planets work for you
You master the time [on] how astrology will view
I been a brainiac since 18
Would rather grab a book than debate on a sports team
We need more scientists over entertainers
Then the change come
Place ya focus on building daughters and sons
Righteous by nature
Born in a land where they hate ya
Without knowing your existence although we neighbors

Separated by class, gender and race
I fail to see the unity past the paper chase
Where good guys continue to finish last
We embrace the hustler's path to destruction [with] no complaints
Ends justified the means
It was a dream since the law applied pressure when caught devilish schemes
Systematic down to the moment that you arrive
Eyes sealed shut then blamed for your demise
