If I could change a thing or two 'bout me
I'd photoshop my face and brush my acne clean
And I would stop the fears I have at night
That keep my mind awake and my conscience wound up tight

Yeah, I'd change the people's rules for what ya can and can't do
How rappin' in these kinda songs is super uncool
(But I'd probably lose the following I gained this last year)
I'll wait until another time when I'm secure!

I'd be writing more songs about how I really feel
Not trying to hide a single thing for lack of appeal
I'd laugh when people talk about politically correct
And ask 'em if they'd like to speak a different dialect

But I'll keep on walking down the path that leads to somewhere new
And I'll leave the past inside my songs so it belongs to you
