Terry Pearson - Lacy

Oh, Lacy, my doggie, she's got eyes of brown
And she wears 'em inside of her head
She uses 'em often to look all around
And at night time she'll shut 'em for bed
Oh, Lacy, my doggie, she's got red hair
And it's spread from her nose to her tail
Did I mention that tail's got bones inside
And she'll whup ya when she's feelin' swell

Oh, Lacy, my doggie, she's got them long teeth
And one even shines like a pearl
She's got this strange habit of grinning when she's mad
But generally, she's a harmless ol' girl
Oh, Lacy, my doggie's got claws in her paws
And she likes to dig holes in the ground
But she never put nuthin' in the holes that she made
And I don't believe nuthin's been found

Oh, Lacy, my doggie, she's got that black nose
A point of interest, and it's sniffy and cold
She sticks it in things you and I walk around
And the south end of friends, so I'm told
Oh, Lacy, my doggie, she's so unrefined
She eats from a bowl on the floor
And I seen her at times throwing up what she ate
I suppose so she could eat it once more

And she says "Bow wow!" What the heck is "Bow wow?"
I never listen no how, but it's a curious thing to say
She says "Bow wow," and she says it real loud
Aw "Bow wow, bow wow, bowwwwwww wow!"
