Chuck the Show - Teenage Girl

She's just a late teenage girl, never had worry in the world
She's a teenage girl, never had a worry in the world
19 don't know what she's doing with her life cuz no one ever really took the time
She's teenage girl, never had worry in the world

She don't know love cuz she's never seen it
And everyone she's ever trusted always ends up leaving
Doesn't show no one respect, cuz no one told her meanings
Of what will make her happy she just wants parties on weekends

And I see that, I get that, I'm not blaming you at all
But I don't have the time, to be the one to break those walls
I grow up and it's scary, time for me to act adult
But just before I threw the towel in, my heart it got caught

By this girl down the road yeah
Met her through the little bro and
I wish he would talk to me, cuz she will never leave me lone
Exactly what I wanted but don't know if she's ready
Cuz she tells me bout her friends and all that shits so petty

And she talks about her past super excited and nostalgic
But she also tell me that it sucked, like she was on an island
I'm getting these mixed signals, don't know what it all means
But she's so fucking charming and I just wanna dream about

Late teenage girl, never had worry in the world
She's a teenage girl, never had a worry in the world
19 don't know what she's doing with her life cuz no one ever really took the time
She's teenage girl, never had worry in the world

As I dig a little deeper, this girl she's got goals but she doesn't think she'll achieve them
Cuz she's caught between a life of acting like a child and growing up
And it pains my heart that she never had no one ever to build her up, its tough cuz

Sometimes she makes me jealous and I don't always know her motive cuz I don't know where her head is
And I know she loves me but she fears to express it
Cuz no one ever made her feel like she was something special

I don't get that shit, cuz I know that I loved her
No one that comes close and she reminds me of my mother
And I know the problem, cuz we care about each other
It's the fact that were at different stages, and that's due different ages

And the culture she grew up in, didn't let make her feel embraced cuz
Her friends were cool on the surface but they had been acting shady
I'm not asking her to change cuz who she is it's so amazing
I just wish she'd figure out that she's better than all these labels

She's so fun to be around, someone I cant live without
You can keep the stable girl that thinks she's got it figured out
Cuz no one stable mentally is someone who could hold me down
Honestly I'm just as lost, and I want to make her proud

Late teenage girl, never had worry in the world
She's a teenage girl, never had a worry in the world
19 don't know what she's doing with her life cuz no one ever really took the time
She's teenage girl, never had worry in the world
