Well today I thought of moving to San Diego
Even though I've never been there before
It isn't realistic, just a day dream of mine
But it's easier than trying not to cry
Today I thought of flying to Virginia
To see if I could learn some history
But before I could look I saw your shoulder bag
And remembering just made me really sad
Today I'll drink some coffee
To get me out of bed

Today I bought a fancy new guitar case
But it didn't fit the model that I own
I should've done the research
And double checked the size
It's just that lately I can't feel anything inside
