Another headless rabbit in the yard

At the sight of myself all burned and charred
Despite being the one who lit the match
Knowing damn well that I would catch on fire
But did it in hopes that I would detach
From this body that I do not desire
But I awake the next morning skin healed
Longing again to be blistered and peeled
