After Aristotle - Episodes

Yesterday I cried my eyes out
In the parking lot of Chik Fil A
I’m not sure why but I guess my chemistry is off
My body’s telling me to figure out what’s wrong
So I pay attention to the songs
That I’ve been listening to in the car
They sing a lot about loss and
And finding yourself
And remembering to care for your health
Maybe I’ve been down too long
To know what up feels like
Unless it overcomes my mind
Think I’m stuck on overdrive
There’s a weakness in my spine
That I can’t shake
No I can’t stand up for myself
But for anyone else I’ll break
I'll break
Everyone says I don’t need another lover
Have to be by myself to recover
Oh and stop running to every pair
Of hands that will run through my hair
Maybe I’ve been down too long
To know what up feels like
Unless it overcomes my mind
Think I’m stuck on overdrive
Give me something to hold onto
I’ve been wasting away
On Sadder Days
I’m gonna remember to eat today
I’m gonna drink enough water that I don’t shake
And try to fall asleep before 8
In the morning
Or maybe I’ll just watch the office all night
Til the world creeps away from my mind (Repeats last two lines)
Maybe I’ve been down too long
To know what up feels like
Unless it overcomes my mind
Think I’m stuck on overdrive
Give me something to hold onto
I’ve been wasting away
On Sadder Days
