Music for Deaf People - A Colour Out of Space

Understanding colours
Is more dangerous than before
Beneath the crooked cellar
Below the creaking boards

There lurks a creature waiting
Beyond the padlocked door

A colour out of space
Beyond the realm of words
A colour out of space
Beyond our earthly world

A colour out of space
Beyond the realm of words
A colour out of space
Beyond our earthly world
A colour out of space
Beyond the realm of words
A colour out of space
Beyond our earthly world

Their time was lost before us
Their family on the floor
Their groaning was a chorus
As you marched back through the door

A colour out of space
Beyond the realm of words
A colour out of space
Beyond our earthly world

A colour out of space
Beyond the realm of words
A colour out of space
Beyond our earthly world
A colour out of space
Beyond the realm of words
A colour out of space
Beyond our earthly world

And as they departed, their footsteps turned into dust
The sun began to set on the even of these poor youthful souls
Dreams of past battles, both won and lost for better and worse
Passed through their ever expanding minds
Few had travelled such grand distances still remaining within such close quarters
At pivotal points in time, they heard each other's cries for help
And answered with everlasting urgency

A colour out of space, a moment out of time
Treasures vastly missing, and yet not one is forgotten
Picture frames scrape the sky of their memories
Leaving behind new traces of a beginning long since passed

And onward they swept. Through the trees and valleys of time's wake
Have you ever led through the trees or sailed upon an ungodly ocean?
Existed cooperatively with primitive species?
How often in your life have you been able to say "Yes! I have slayed the dragon"?
What sense does your own life make? Or are you just a lifeform
Babbling nonsensical queries until the end of time?
Until you can answer these questions, your life shall remain incomplete
As a schedule of hours with no set closing time
When I first answered these questions
I ran over and over in my mind the possibility that I had answered them incorrectly
I then realized that the correct answers are all I can give
You can give me a gun rack, and I don't have to on a gun to use it
I can conquer dragons to hell and back, and cut trees down if I have to
We as people, can read into and discuss love
And the crafting of the fifth elemental portion of our lives

Don't be afraid to sink the anchor, uncover the truth
In the end, what lies inside your head is your own
Defeat all injustices brought upon you

In 10,000 days of your life, what can you say you accomplished?
Go now, wake up early, and don't stop until the sun sets behind the mobile chip truck that is
In essence, the reason to existence
