Am I still in my bed

A darkness I can't avoid

A distant voice starts chanting
Feeling it approaching
Dark thoughts is its catalyst
Feeding on my reverence

Roaring rumbling from its steps
The sound is so thunderous
I can feel its foul breath on me
My eyes are shut I cannot see

This presence
Inside my mind
This darkness
I can't define
I would scream if I had a voice
Can't wake up, I don't have a choice

I can't take no more
I've had enough
But this hellish nightmare
Has just begun
I don't want to once again
Hear its foul scream
Can't someone please wake me
From this lucid dream

I hear the devil laughing
My heartrate is climbing
My mind has been fully bent
This nightmare seems to have no end

This presence

This darkness
I can't define
