You may win, you may lose
You may become infatuated with it
But you also may become repulsed with it
When I think of war, I think of pain
Love brings me so much of that
What hurts even more is that I know why it does
When in love, I expect just as much love back as I've given
In a world where we lack peace and foundation
How can I expect to find peace and foundation within the problem
Now on the contrary, not everyone is the problem
That .001% of people in the world's current population is just unknown to me for the mean time
I want to say I'm close, but I don't know for sure
Because as a standard human being, I expect what's perfect for me and I don't know what that is yet

The villains of every love story
We expect love in return for our love,
We assume that person will give us the same level of compassion we give them
We expect the devotion and hospitality to the relationship as we would do ourselves
We assume that everyone we chase is the right person
But in the end is it really
Does it even matter
Love is war and it always will be
But in the end if you win, congratulations
But if you lose, you end up in the circle of singles all over again, and after a certain amount of cycles
Everything will just stop mattering until you find that one person that makes your whole world stop
