The Old Breed - 1929

American working class out on the front line
Blue collar warrior still being crucified
Fighting for a future that's dead and gone
The country's turned its back now we're on our own
Hardworking men and women standing in the bread line
Underemployed underpaid it's not 1929
Wake up America before it begins
If they kill the bill of rights it'll be our end

We live our lives every day in this fight
Need a ray of light to make it through the darkest times
Revolution is in the air my friends
It's time to take this country back for the working class

Wall Street rats always leave the sinking ship
They take what they want and then away they slip
Like a thief in the night robbing the local liquor store
Never know what it's like to be the working poor
Never know what it's like to fight to survive
Never know what it's like to slowly lose your mind
Day after day rotting on the factory floor
Just to give your family a little bit more

Big brother big government trying to tell me how to live
Got their hand in my pocket I've got nothing left to give
Still they take from me every day until I day
The systems been corrupted with greed and lies
Try and stomp out the working class more and more
Look at the separation between the rich and the pore
We built this country with broken bones and broken lives
Now they'll have to kill us all to kill our way of life
