What a mighty God
Mighty over all
Eye is the small
So He's watching me
Even though I fall
Doing what I shouldn't
'Stead of what I ought
Living day to day
As if I wasn't taught
Or brought up in the dark
Never in the light
Always in the wrong
Never in the right
'Till the early morn
Weeping in the night
Beaten in this fight
Sinking from the heights
All time low
Thinking of my life
My mind's blown
Because I made sin
My maestro
Again and again
I might go
Back to my vomit
Cause deep inside
I guess I really want it
When I see I don't
I'd already done it
The problem with the heart
Is
It's a product of man's plummet
I was in a state
Full of sin and hate
And I could never make
A choice that didn't come from a place
As dark as the heart of a slave
Awfully depraved
Off in the brain
A rebel in His eyes
Scoffing at His reign
All was mundane
Dead and alive
Hardened and vain
Until by His grace
A pardoned had came
I was yet a sinner
Yet in the beginning
'Fore I ever did it
God was still committed
To His predetermined purpose
To have a wretched me acquitted
As was scripted in the scripture
That depicts love
A perfect picture
Of the Holy God
Who suffered as He served
All because of His work

I'm covered

I was sinning every day and night
There was no way I could make it right
But for the grace and the love of Christ
God made a way and He covered my
Transgressions
Covered my sins
Covered my faults
It was in His plan
'Fore He laid the land
He ordained the Lamb
To live and die to cover this man

My life is all about what He say
And from that I can't run away
He covers me in righteousness
I sport His blood like Kumate
Sometimes on this journey
This old flesh of mine gets in the way
This old man, he cannot stay
My God, Bomaye
I'm an undone wretch that's prone to fall back
But Jesus is my Shepherd
And He's known to call back
His sheep as they scatter
Down along the wrong path
But don't laugh
You don't want to know His whole wrath
The penance for your sinning
You don't want to owe that
To stand before the throne
And to have to go back
Over indiscretions that are left on your track
Record
Living reckless
It'll happen so fast
In the twinkle of an eye
When the dead in Christ rise
We will see Him in the Sky
Like whoa
It will be a big surprise
Prophecy finalized
We will lift our hands high
Like so
He is worthy to be praised
For His mercy and His grace
I just want to see His face
And be known
To Him the glory belongs
There's no chance that I could be wrong
This is my story
This is my song
He is the Life I breathe in my lungs
May His Word cling to my tongue
His will be done
His Kingdom come
My God is three persons
And the three are One
Through a virgin
We received the Son
He had one reason that He would come
It was for our treason that He had hung
Please believe that's love and there won't be another
God in existence that can prove that He love us
Amazing is the fact that He's even thinking of us
That's why He sent His Son and shed His blood
And got us covered
Oh how I love Him
