But having that thought is the same as a murder
The heart of a killer could reside in us all
So if God got rid of evil then I know I'd be gone
It's like I started the storm that I'm still going through
But don't see it that way cuz I'm thinking I'm cool
It's ridiculous to not take our share of the blame
When we've all had our moments of causing some pain
It's insane that this world spinning out of control
So many people marching with no where to go
Some out of control, with a devilish mind
But walking that road pain is all that you'll find
It's like our mind can design our perception of life
But we all seem to fall to our conception of right
Lost, looking for light and trying to prevail
If we don't go through hell, we ain't growing too well, for real

All I want to know is why we're going through it all
It's like my whole life done been nothing but a storm
Why would a loving God allow all this sin
We see the evil of the world and not evil within
I contend with my sin that been living inside
So I ask the divine just to redesign my mind
Everybody blind trying to stack up them G's
When a single disease puts the world on it's knees
I believe he has risen even if you're still mad
The sun will rise and rain falls on the good and the bad
We alone on this path but it's still the high ground
When you pick up the cross while you holding it down
The Lord is looking down, amidst all this pain
So when it needs annulled, just call on His name
He's always been the same, it's us that needs love
So He hung up on the cross and took it in blood
