Lars Allen - Glass Walkway

Go for a walk down the glass walkway
Nothing but silence and the wind blowing gently
Look below your feet and there's a beach with palm trees
Swaying aimlessly in the sea breeze
The sun's gone down
That's when the demons are released
The glass has shattered
And now I need to pick up every piece
Will you be there to help me find the shards?
Hands getting bloody, beach getting cold and dark
Feels like I'm being swallowed by a vortex
And carried for miles and miles
But the sun's come up, the storm is gone
It's all smiles
And I go for walk down the glass walkway
Nothing but silence and the wind blowing gently
Look below my feet and there's a beach with palm trees
Swaying aimlessly in the sea breeze
Fall, fall, fall
I land hard inside a volcano
You're here by me, that's good to know
We scream and shout a silent chorus
We're not in flames, not even nervous
We can't even breathe
The sun is setting
I'm colder than I've ever been
The volcano's crumbling all around us
The blackened sky's caving in
We go for a walk down the glass walkway
Nothing but silence and the wind blowing gently
Look below our feet and there's a beach with palm trees
Swaying aimlessly in the sea breeze
