Eridia - Atmospheric Entry

Oh I look around
And something's off today
The water is changing colors in
Interesting ways

The smoke is rising from the mountaintops it seems
And I've been noticing the plants begin to wither by the stream

They said something has fallen from the sky late last night
It entered through our atmosphere
Constructing smoke and light

It's beautiful
The knowledge behind that machine
The vessel falls
It's casualties tainted our stream
The sanctity
Of our Water becomes unclean

After many days of thirst
The water calls our name
The babbling stream infects our dreams
We tried hard to stay away

Oh
Without water there is no life
And so I risk a taste
Our lives depend upon this test
I take a sip and pray
God help me

There's something in the water
I feel it changing me
I'm getting weak
My strength fails me
And despite my body
Shutting down I feel and ecstasy
Coursing through me and I'm
Loving every single second of it
Oh, I don't want this to ever stop

The village stops in silence
As they watch my body fade
Fear will be their guidance
To devise a great escape
With water turned against them
They look up to the unknown
This world can no longer be home
