The Metal Alliance - Memories of the Past

A room dark and cold harbors a psychotic child
Every fiber in her body is shivering with fright
The memories take her back to when the horror began
As the images come rolling in she relives it all again

Sent away deep into the woods by their father to be left behind
Her brother leaving a trail so they could always get home, it settled her mind

They looked back and the trail was gone
Panic surged how could they hang on
Left to die nowhere to go
Stranded by a large willow

Walking for days on end
Hallucinating they couldn't comprehend

Caught in an endless stream of terrifying dreams
There's no serenity she's haunted by the screams
An all engulfing inferno laid everything to ash
But the memories remained never got pushed to the past

Days of wandering led to a house with food in great supply
Invited in by the host to feed themselves not questioning why

Captured when they entered the house, they were going to die
Her brother would be a meal for the host there was one thing she could try

Her eyes are rolled back again we need to get her the pills,
She'll never leave this place, we have to hold her against her will

Fooling the host was easy enough, now their captor was hovering above
The fires in the massive oven, all she needed was to give a shove

Into the fire their captor fell
Unleashing screams from hell
Her brother taunting far too close
From the fire an arm rose

Dragging him into the flames
Burning alive he screamed her name

Caught in an endless stream of terrifying dreams
There's no serenity she's haunted by the screams
An all engulfing inferno laid everything to ash
But the memories remained never got pushed to the past
Now she's locked away never to see the light of day
