We voted for the same things our grandparents died fighting

It's hard to believe there are men so evil
That they have such disregard for people

We will stop caring, become desensitized
Begins with the lies of politicians seeking to divide
It will be us versus them, intolerance, fear and hate
We all will become mindlessly obedient and turn a blind eye

(Obsession with crime and punishment, and national security)
We voted for the same things our grandparents died fighting

(Labour power suppression, manufactured enemies)

Nationalism and military might
There will be no such thing as human rights
