Adam Smith - There's a Kid in My Food!

I was out in the meadow just minding my own
When a guy with big scissors took the wool I had grown
So, I went home for dinner 'cause my day had been ba-a-ad
There's a kid in my food, and everybody seems gla-a-ad!

The world has gone crazy so sound the alarm!
There's a small herd of people living in the barn
I'm just a critter not trying to be rude
But Mister Innkeeper, there's a kid in my food!

I was out in the meadow and feeling ok
When a guy with a bucket took my milk for the day
So, I head for the barn to get a snack from the manger
There's a kid in my food! Can things get much stranger?

The world has gone crazy so sound the alarm!
There's a small herd of people living in the barn
I'm just a critter not trying to be rude
But Mister Innkeeper, there's a kid in my food!

I was in the next village, just hanging around
I gave these people a lift to Bethlehem town
I overheard them talking 'bout a miracle birth
He's the Savior of the world!
He created the earth!

The world's been waiting for the Maker of stars
The Son of God is with us, and He's living in the barn
We're just critters, but we know what to do
So Mister Creator, thanks for giving us food!
