Za's Stair - From Igneous Unknown

Soul-heart of seeds, the seas are bending
Manchester-Leeds, and neverending
Gardens of plastic stones
Interred with showpiece bones

Nonna vibrates in their lead
Spectral-ghastly urgency
Awakened in her eyes
Sondra beckons us to tea, her lawn a graveyard
Across the brook a factory, parking lot gallows
Bricks in muted tones
Brixton on their clothes

Scant time is left in spectral wallets
Get your gloves and your stiff collars
And hew away the stone
Of igneous unknown

Set your phones and your mind beepers
This rush to vein is getting steeper
You're sweating and you're scared
But you're nearly there

Soul-heart of seeds, the bees are dying
Such honey sweet, and death-defying
Divine in its own ways, divided and afraid

Deal-plan allies have wagered their throats
As Summoner Sepsis peruses his notes
A pile of whim and dare, too petulant to care
To people made of foam, it leaves their hearts alone
And soon a steady groan from igneous unknown
