Alright let me the start with the obvious things I ain't no king

I'm putting in the work, so my family is eating good
A real man puts his family first, and writes his story in the book

I can say I'm proud of me, all of these places I've been
The people I've seen, I'm living proof you can chase a dream

I can say my life is far from perfect, and I have things that I regret
Especially the fact that I'm a reject, I've come to respect that

I had a chat with the devil yesterday, he said he's been feeling bad
That I was trying to hide the fact, that I lived my life like a doormat

Letting people walk all over me, for a little bit of money
Hard lives do make hard people, because it never came easy

I couldn't care simply, because I'm young and hungry

Supporting my family has always been my priority,

I used to pray every day for death because my friends were never there
