¡What! - Hypnotic

Although my paranoia is smitten, we are so divided
They're still undecided
Are we free to roam?
And although you stand in disbelief
You self-inflicted all of your convictions
Are your actions disowned?
I try to distinguish these faces, and all of these podcasts
But am I just the outcast?
Should I simply refrain?
You say you separate the choosers from the drug abusers
But aren't we all just users?
Oh, no...I can abstain
Well, the times, they are changing
All these minds distantly rearranging
Yeah I might be a burn-out
But what is worth burning for?
While you're concerned with turnouts, I'm just tapping on the floor
Go try and flip the switch off, they'll turn it right back on
Am I the only one who stays until the final song?
A product of the experience
Or to experience the product?
You just get your soul from a blackened lens
Yet, I'm the hypnotic?
The passage that you've written is overzealous
It makes others jealous
So you cannot display
That your mind is always running off to darker places
With all these open spaces
A pariah can stray
Yet we're all casually drifting
Because, the tides, they are shifting
Yeah I might be a burn-out
But what is worth burning for?
While you're concerned with turnouts, I'm just tapping on the floor
Go try and flip the switch off, they'll turn it right back on
Am I the only one who stays until the final song?
A product of the experience
Or to experience the product?
You just get your soul from a blackened lens
Yet, I'm the hypnotic?
