Marsha and the Positrons - Virtual School

School time is here
And it's a little different this year
But I still see my friends
In gallery view on my screen
And I don't have to wear shoes
In the mornings I get an extra snooze
And I know that I'll never be late
And I won't miss the bus
We'll go on a virtual trip to the zoo
Watch an online tour of an aquarium, too
We'll see statues in Paris
And paintings that hang in the Louvre
It's virtual school — yeah, it's online
And I know that we're gonna be fine
My teachers are there
Showing me they care
I'll find a way to shine
We're doing yoga in PE
I've learned downward dog & can pose like a tree
I'm mindful and learning
To be slow & calm when I breathe
I use normal cups and plates
At lunch there's no plastic waste
So it's good for the earth
And the creatures that live in the sea
And I don't have to wear socks
I know I won't lose my lunchbox
Or my sweatshirt or hat
Lost & Found won't be filled with my stuff
It's virtual school — yeah, it's online
And I know that we're gonna be fine
My teachers are there
Showing me they care
I'll find a way to shine
It's virtual school — yeah, it's online
And I know that we're gonna be fine
My teachers are there
Showing me they care
I'll find a way to shine
Yeah, I'll find a way to shine
