Czarenne - Our House

We built this house together
For years it's how we lived and breathed
Through our love we shaped an almost perfect sanctuary
A monument to all that we achieved

Now you're moving someplace better
There's nothing that can fill the space
I swear I'll never forget what this house has meant to me
Even now it's still my favourite place

And should I need room for another
I'll build a whole new house and this one shall remain
Unused, it will stand and wait unchanged
'Til you and I can move back in again

I hope you don't regret our efforts
Like it was all a waste of time
I hope that you look back on us with fond memories
As you go on to lead the most fulfilling life

And if you ever want to visit
This house is yours so you already have a key
No need to call ahead, just turn up any time
And you'll receive a warm welcome from me

There's no room here for anger
There's nowhere I can hold a grudge
There's nowhere I can keep account of any wrongs
When it's overflowing wall to wall with love

I'm fixing up our house with patience
My hope will make it persevere
And if ever you need shelter from the endless freezing night
You can rest assured you're always welcome here
You're always welcome here
You're always welcome here
You're always welcome here
