Mr. Brad - Coronavirus Blues
Stuck inside
With nuthin' to do
And that's got me feelin'
Kinda blue
I miss my friends
I miss my school
I miss my classroom's
Pet turtle named Jewel
But what I can tell
Is what I'm going through
Is a thing
Called the Coronavirus Blues
The Coronavirus Blues
It's all over the news
It seems to go
Wherever it chooses
And mom's telling' us
We gotta stay home
School's out
Wash your hands
Don't touch your eyes, face, or nose
No more playground trips
Or playdates with my friend Bart
It's sad, And I'm lookin' for a brand-new start
So just when I thought
I couldn't take it no more
A letter from my teacher
Appeared at my door
It was technically homework
But it was actually fun
And it helped me remember
Things I'd already done
There were math games and spelling
Art projects galore
And a virtual classroom
For me to explore
As terrible as all
This has been
My family's eating dinner
Together again
My brother Jack
Read me a story about giraffes
And I found my old blocks
And made a really tall stack
When we get back to school
I'll see all my friends again
We'll share some great stories
And Coronavirus will end
