InspirationNow Series - Late On A Plane

They had to wait for me
Cos i was late
Again
The fellowship
That i've enjoyed
With a friend of mine
Made time disappear
As we were sitting
On the edge of a cliff
Trying to lift each other up
With empty hands
And silent prayers
The tears on my shoulders
Dried quickly by the breeze
That was weaving
Through my hair
Everybody was already ready
To the take off
As the flight attendant
Pointed out the present situation
That i already knew

Still trying to threaten me
With her eyelashes
I bet she could speak
Any of the world's languages
Maybe even more than one

She was upset
And I guess the anger
Rolled up inside
Will not rest its head easily
It needs some attention
Like a little child
That is put to sleep
But not now
Because now
She still has to wait on me
(Chicken or beef, Sir?)
