MAïLA - Moon
It's a warm, breezy evening
I look upon the sky
I'm slowly deeply breathing
The stars shine very high
The world is going crazy
Unrest is in the minds
But at least the earth keeps turning
The home of humankind
I'm sitting here in patience looking to the moon
I feel and smell a summer evening in June
The moon shows me calmness
Smiling down to me
Giving me the promise
That not only I can see and feel
A friend of mine is far away
I can't deny that I'm afraid
But I know, that if he looks up
He sees the same big shining dot
A calm luminous warrior
Showing us the way
In Ho Shi Minh and Florida
At the end of every day
I'm sitting here in patience looking to the moon
I feel and smell a summer evening in June
The moon shows me calmness
Smiling down to me
Giving me the promise
That I'm not the only one
being here
The moon shows me calmness
Smiling down to me
Reminding me to be conscious
Of being human and that feelings are free
That feelings are free
