Julie C. Gilbert - Snow Softly Fall
See the snow softly fall
Only God could have imagined
Such a peaceful scene
Almost fear to take a step
Like it's akin to throwing stones
Through stained glass
I guess my walk here is all right
The way the snow falls tonight
This path won't remember me anyway
I'll turn around, wait a minute
Watch my footsteps disappear
Feeling the bitter chill in the air
That reminds me I am so frail
God come warm me with Your presence
As I pray and watch the snow softly fall
I'm reminded of the peace and the
Steep price paid to gain my soul
Wish the snow would softly fall every day
Then, I'd always remember my God
Who keeps me warm with His presence
