simulation adaptation - The Passenger

I was a different man when I bought my ticket
I didn't think I would have the guts to do something like this
Now that I have sat down I wonder if this was the wisest decision
But to hell with it, turning back isn't an option anymore
Not that there would be anything for me to go back to
As the train moves further I seem to find no one but myself
No passengers around me
And no conductor to stamp the card that I seem to have lost
Even the voices from the speakers sound like nothing but gibberish to me
When I look out the window, I am moved by its simplicity
Why have I never noticed this before?
The green grass reflecting the burning sun form
One of the most mesmerizing sights i have ever seen
And now I wonder, has this always been out here?
I'll leave it all behind
I'm running out of time
I am the same man
As when I bought my ticket
Nothing's changed really
