Only1jack$on - The System

Mama moved em out the hood to get a education
Wanna show these white kids her baby ain't basic
But she moved to a town where they really racist
No verbal conjunctions the actions showing on they faces
Walk around the school honkies give him dirty looks
Not saying a sentence he kept his head in them books
But when he spoke proper left these white people shook
Because they thought he was a dealer hanging with them crooks
They choose sides and switched roles they ain't playing fair
Addressed it to his teacher she said she don't really care
Confused face so he went to sit back in his chair
She said you to black for this school why you here
Offended by this question rising up out his seat
He said I got a 4.0 lady can't you see
She tried to talk but he told his teacher let me speak
I'm as smart as these white kids could really ever be
She told him go to office and stop that gibberish talking
She told em you gon be in jail or prolly dead in a coffin
His Principal called his momma she trynna talk to him cautious
Cause She don't want him in the hood back where they had already started
But it's to late one mistake and now you back to the trenches
Gun shots in the night and now ducking and flenching
Wish that he could start over and not get in that position
Say the blacks have the freedom but never value opinions
Momma back in the streets she gold digging for money
Had a strange feeling In his mind something was funny
Ran outside stayed still like the movies with dummy's
Seen his momma shot dead laying flat on her tummy
While he at the funeral he couldn't hold back the tears
To see his momma in a casket it was one of his fears
He watched his momma struggle everyday through all of them years
His life about to take a U-Turn get ready to stir
Gang banging in streets tattoos on his face
Went to jail several times homie facing a case
Gave that young boy some crud and it prolly was laced
Scholarships from all his colleges was taken away
They Let the glock squeeze up and put that boy to the test
Chilling on his grandmas porch he was shot in the chest
Planned the pieces so smooth like they playing some chess
Once a 4.0 student then they put em to rest
Didn't accept him In school because the brother was black
Momma wanted better for him but you sent him right back
Look at what you have caused because yo prejudice ways
And I'm exposing the system I know they want us as slaves
