Dafne - How I Became A House

On the floor
I feel my body attached to the ground

I feel the floor
As if I'm melting on the floor
As if I'm becoming the floor

Little by little
I'm getting bigger
I'm not just immersed in the floor
But I'm becoming the floor

I'm the floor
I'm getting bigger
I'm the walls
From the floor I climb on the walls
I've almost reached the ceiling
Faster than before
I'm the ceiling
I'm the walls

I'm a palace
I'm a building
I feel the outside like the inside
Every room precise
But I feel I am the same

I also feel the antennas
That connect above my head
I'm not the antennas
But maybe those
Will make me expand

I'm a signal
Blue
White
But not lightning
More delicate
More gentle
But fast
Lightning fast
Fast
Quick
And precise

Now I'm a neighborhood
Now I'm an area
Now I'm Milan

I am Switzerland
I am Liechtenstein
I'm going north
I am Germany
I've changed color
Now my flow is yellow
And Germany below me
Is brown
It's red
It's all the same

I am suspended in the air
A body with outstretched arms
But not a body that falls
And knows it's going to die
A body that never falls
Violently to the ground

Rather a body that if fell
Would have that certain feeling
Of returning itself
Like a drop in the water
In the sea

I feel powerful
