Will Gray - Psalm 2

Our God he sits in heaven
With angels round his throne
The earth standing beneath him
The stars it’s precious robe
He bends his arm to touch the meek
The fathers smile to raise the week
His law is full of love and of protection

Why do the nations rage
Why do the people plot in vain
Surely the fathers law
Is made of pure perfection
The try to burst their bonds
They say let’s cast away the chords from us
They charge against the Lord's anointed one
But he’s laughing in the heavens

I’ve set my king on zion
Up on my holy hill
He is my son begotten
If he just asks then I will give
The nations as his heritage
The earth as his possession
He shall break the with an iron rod of justice

Why do the nations rage
Why do the people plot in vain
Surely the fathers laws
Are made of pure perfection
The try to burst their bonds
They say let’s cast away the chords from us
They charge against the Lord's anointed one
But he’s laughing in the heavens
He’s laughing in the heavens

Oh kings be wise and warned
Salvation belongs only to the Lord
With fear come serve the king
Come rejoice with trembling
Come bow and kiss the son
He burns up sinners like the raging sun
His justice is right and true
Blessed is the one
Who finds refuge in you
