This is not about being wild,
or breaking free,
or rebelling
Or searching for redemptions for the humanity
This is about a heavy compromise
To a world that is slowly dying
To an unsustainable future
To all the goodness we fake
To all the values we pretend to believe
Juggling life with an assembled form of dream
Juggling guilt with pleasure
Killing animals without dirtying your hands
Committing crime without the heinous consequences
Cooking in intervals of heat and artificial air we pump into our surroundings
Manufacturing sugary falsehood to make our life seem more worthwhile
Slowly coming to terms to a reality we are too weak and distracted to change
Bathing in a hedonistic joy
watching as the world’s destroyed
