Ape Gorgeous - Berceuse

When the forest sleeps
The dodo bird starts weeping
Alice can't you see that
You're keeping me up
When the moon is laughing
He can't be heard from out in space
But when the clouds are thin I swear I see a grin upon his silver face

When you catch the breeze
Whistling through the window
You can't help wondering
If wind blows through limbo
When the waves are crashing
I'm sure it's calm way down below
And when I sink I think I'll lay at the bottom for
1000 years or So
Who knows?

When the love tastes bitter
The ravens' screech misunderstood
And as the murder starts to wither
You can sense the serpents' slither
Unassumingly into the wood
When the fairies scatter
They search for magic in the night
The warlock watches from her tower as to not
Disturb this hour for it's such a rare and special
sight
I might just keep on wandering until I find
What's meant for me to find
All in its own time

When it's so hard to sleep
You beg the berceuse seeps
Into your psyche
But most likely
You'll mind the whole piece
