Spider Cues - Eagle Eye

White lies and blinding lights fluorescent,
Misfit pieces of the present,
Scatters in sun-stained stray debris,
And circles seamlessly in ease,

Same sights tainted in the rears,
As blurred out lines upon the mirror,
And static television cries,
Between the broadcast chorus lines,

And I’ll take these fallacies in waiting,
Build them up to blind your eagle eye,
It’s been four years, still I hesitate,
Time means nothing in the absence of a fate,
And through all these iterations lost,
Won’t you see it from my side?

Sunset, incessant second guesses,
Streetlight mess to mend these fences,
Awe-struck, weary eyes that say,
“No ground covered in my name,”
I’ll frame these narrow moment stills,
To grace the walls of newfound will,
Two steps back and out of frame,
Broad views never seemed the same,

And I’ll take these fallacies in waiting,
Build them up to blind your eagle eye,
It’s been four years, still I hesitate,
Time means nothing in the absence of a fate,
And through all these iterations lost,
Won’t you see it from my side?

And I took these fallacies in waiting,
Built them up to scale the other side,
It’s been four years, and counting to the day,
Time told everything between the scribbled shades,
And through all these iterations lost,
Through the scattered leaves of fall,
Through the visions of it all,
Won’t you see it from my side?
