The Xebellian Triangle - Spawn Of Ungoliant

Monstrosity, upon their stilts, a hunger never satisfied
Gargantuan, yet silent wraith
Her tusks of poison unfurl from searching mandibles
The forest creaks, rotten and bleak
Strangling in the silk, her banquet tries to flee
The limbs quiver, then drop; toxins induce rigidity
As in life, so in death, we are flies caught in a web
We are food for a predator; immobilized, we die this night
Careless, we have wandered
Sarcophagi are woven in the shade of The Queen
Tall trees are our minarets, we call to praise her spinnerets
Foolish we were to run from the eight-legged Goddess Of Death
Hoisted high from the woodland floor, our Empress wants to feed
Thousands of corpses on display
Is it a travesty, to marvel at this majesty
When devourment is fucking nigh
Pedipalps reveal what she desires
Consume the ripe; the most succulent
As in life, so in death, we are flies caught in a web
We are food for a predator; immobilized, we die this night
Careless we have wandered
Sarcophagi are woven in the shade of The Queen
Tall trees are our minarets, we call to praise her spinnerets
Foolish we were to run from the eight-legged Goddess Of Death
Internals are liquefied and all that's left is just a husk
Proboscis laps up the human nectar; every morsel of the slop
As in life, so in death, we are flies caught in a web
We are food for a predator; immobilized, we die this night
Careless we have wandered
Sarcophagi are woven in the shade of The Queen
Tall trees are our minarets, we call to praise her spinnerets
Foolish we were to run from the eight-legged Goddess Of Death
