Night Shop - Let Me Begin

Well, the Garden State Parkway is all filled with creeps. Just get me out of here and get me some sleep. And I'll dream of the life that I ain't living now. And I'll dream of waking up with you in your house. They called me a loser and they called me worse, but every name that they called me, I called myself first.
I'm going somewhere I ain't been.
So, let me begin.
The Grand Inquisitor came to me in the cell and said why have your freedom, if it can bring hell? So I kissed him goodbye, but I ain't Jesus Christ. I'm just looking for some loving, here in this life.
So meet me in July, meet me in the rest.
Meet me in South Jersey or in Paris, France.
I'll wear a suit, I won't know what to say. I could come right to you. I could leave today.
And I want you to want me, I want you to care about what I'm doing when I'm not there. I live for the dreams that are real in my mind. And if they don't come true, well, then I'll be fine.
Because every decision was mine to make. Tell The Grand Inquisitor that I'm fine with my faith. So picture me driving or in a green room defaced by some dumb hardcore band that had too much time to waste. To be honest, I was glad when I heard they broke up. Guess they weren't lifers. There ain't many of us.
I'm going somewhere I ain't been.
Just like I always did.
Yes, I'm going somewhere I ain't been.
So let me begin.
